The Santa Barbara Probation Headquarters is a state-of-the-art facility designed tocentralize all south county probation-related services in one location.
This 35,000 square foot, Zero Net Energy (ZNE) building will serve both adult and juvenile clients and consolidate services currently provided at the Probation Report and Resource Center. The facility aims to enhance service delivery, improve client outcomes, and foster a more efficient, cohesive approach to probation services.
Featuring advanced energy efficiency measures and renewable energy sources, the building will produce as much energy as it consumes annually, supporting the County’s sustainability goals. With a construction cost of $37.82 million, the project is scheduled to open in Fall 2026, with ProWest serving as the general contractor.
