AMG served as the General Contractor for this project, which features a new 35,676 SF two-story instructional building designed to expand the campus’s classrooms, offices, resources, event spaces, and support areas to accommodate its growing needs. The building’s unique overlapping “L-shaped” design creates a geometric connection that symbolizes unity and forms a weather-protected courtyard, enhancing the entry experience. A spacious two-story lobby and student commons space serve as the central social hub, leading to various building areas. Its curved form shields against Santa Ana winds, creating a protected outdoor courtyard and entry areas. High-performance glazing, custom skylights, and daylighting devices ensure optimal lighting while minimizing artificial lighting needs.
